The hole is an animation taking inspiration from the small hole in my retina. The animation was created by filming paint and oil interacting, non-newtonian fluid (oobleck), ferrofluid (liquid iron), alongside digital animation.

The animation was influenced by James Whitney’s 1957 Yantra and George Schwizgebel’s 1982 Le Ravissement de Frank N. Stein.
